will teach summer skincare workshops on 4 aug (wed) and 27 aug (fri) 7 - 9 pm at wood*cotton workshop...
organic clay face soaps, floral water toner and a light grapeseed face lotion - to thoroughly cleanse, soothe and moisturise skin in hot summer days. contact woodcotton.workshop@gmail.com if you are interested to enroll.
devising and preparing for a workshop is really much more difficult and time consuming than it seems. to me, they have to be interesting and practical. i need to make sure i have enough supply of tools and ingredients. then i need to test and try them out, take pictures, calculate costs and time required to make them. i would then come up with the detailed descriptions and do appropriate promotions. if the workshop is on weekdays, which some people prefer, i need to prepare everything ahead of time and bring to the location in advance, as i need to go to work during the day...
but every time after a workshop is finished, i always feel exceptionally happy and satisfied - that someone has learned something they find useful, or even just spent some relaxing time on a weekend or after a long day of work.
i am grateful for the chance of teaching and sharing my little knowledge on the subjects.
